Liberal Fascism- Work of Genius

As I start reading Jonah Goldbergs new book I realize how much headache we have here in this country and the future problems facing us.
The value of this book really jumps out as I recently finished Glenn Beck's ,An Inconvenient Book. That was a simple but concise description of many situations facing us and the threat the liberals pose to us and U.S.

I just spent 15 minutes checking out a few liberal blogs and sites and it is amazing the anger that even the term Liberal Fascism has created and it is also somewhat humorous ( and scary) the vitriol and foul language it brings out in these people.   Forget best seller lists or reviews- just look at the reaction the left has had and will have- this is a great book, Maybe someone can carry the  ideas forward.

What is Wrong with Huckabee?

Why does the socialist press love Mike Huckabee and beat on Mitt and Rudy?   What is wrong with him that they will exploit and abuse to put their person in next fall?

It was not surprising that Huckabee won in Iowa but the joy the the press flunkies have expressed is amazing. The expression of surprise that B.Hussein Obama won is not a surprise in a press that loves B-illary and hopes for the family return to the White House.   I can only hope her loss and continued losses pulls them out of the spotlight and eventually out of NY seat when they realize she was just using it as a stepping stone.

I can only pray and hope that the good parts of all the GOP candidates combine and a winner with a strong personality and strong ideology takes the stage and goes after the Oval Office.   Newt has some ideas and a return to a nw Contract for America might be the way to go.

Where are the Conservatives?

As I sit and listen to the Glenn Beck program I lament at the lack of conservative presence in this election as well as the COMMUNIST THREAT from the other side.

Where is Mr. Reagan?   Why is Newt hiding?    Can we get Newt in Charge of the Republican party?

I live in Virginia ad visited the National Cathedral over the Christmas holidays. I wondered how and what the impact would be to traffic if we were ever able to institute and effective, workable flat tax.    The IRS could be run out of 2 floors in the Treasury Department.  Busloads of lobbyists would be sent home to their benefactors nd get "real" jobs and the rest of the nation could get back to work.

Accountants would be able to coach Little League teams and get out to golf as the 60+ hour weeks are eliminated and law schools will shrink as tax law classes are eliminated and tax law professors are forced to return to the real world and keep the books or teach pre-law in some state college.

As I wait for Iowa results to start rolling in tomorrow I can only pray for the future of the country.  I love talk radio but don't cherish the idea of a pseudo Socialist president and the continued rise of the medium(Rush L grew tremendously as the result of Bubba's time on PA Avenue).

God Bless Us Everyone and God Bless the USA.

"Over There"! Not that positive any more

After I read Walter E. Williams article on Europe I think of the future of America and the USA. As Billary gets closer and has a greater democrat platform to launch her socialist and near communist agenda- Do they have enough time before 2008 to really harm us?   Will they go far enough to really hurt themselves?  I pray but am not sure what for. To be safe I pray for the best for the USA>
As this new congress takes its seat what are we facing?
Charles Rangel and his version of fair taxes- time to get some funny forks and eat snails if that is the case. How far into the socialist agenda will they get in the next 2 years? The fears I have are also the hopes- If they go far left and stay true to form they will reveal themselves for the socialist they are and the voters will see the truth and take the government back for the people and by the people.
I pray for my family, my neighbors and for the nation.   RNC get on the horse and start prepping for 2008 for all jobs in DC.

 Happy Thanksgiving

We need a new Contract with America

I  recently read some old notes and info from sites about the contract and the work that was done during the revolution of the middle 90's.    We  need to put a new contract on the table and work the plan for the next 3 years to maintain control of the country and keep the liberals and communists that many of them really are out of control. Just finished Anne Coulter's, Treason for  the 2nd time and now am worried about the impact of the communist leaning left.
They continue to grow the government and expand the role the central has over us. This has me worried in great new ways.  Seeing the Nikita-like  outburst if the lefties favorite son Bubba has me wide eyed and excited for the possibility of crushing them if we do the right thing.
1) Line item veto    2) Focus on truly balance budget with real baseline budgeting 3) real cure= term limits, do a job get out and get back to real world. 4) shrink the government- start by not growing    5) Take the fight to the terrorists- quit getting attacked- crush the head of the snake and get the heck out. 6) slam the border shut- not an immigration problem we have a trespassing problem.  They are criminals- grab em and toss em back.

What of November?...and Beyond

Now that we are bearing down on the midterm elections what will happen if the Democrats and other liberal leaning pols get into the Congress.  many indications show that as a strong possibility.

What of our security?
What of the economy?
What of the tax cuts that have helped so many and increased revenue?

Where will that put all of us as we enter the craziness that will be 2008?

Flat tax and Term Limits

How can we propose and get a falt tax for the country? After re-reading Steve Forbes book I am more convinced then ever that it is the way to guarantee fiscal success for the country for the long term.

Now today the long term is about 3-5 years, if we are lucky. Politicians commiserate and cajole one another into one agreement after another that helps them and there specific constituents but often hurts the country as a whole(bridges in SC?). The bigger issue may be the reason we need Bob Dornan(R-CA) back and his work for term limits.

The president is limited to 2 terms why should reps an Senators be there for life? They then focus their whole life and efforts of keeping the job and often ignore what may be best for the entire nation. If during every election cycle we have a number of lame duck official they will be apt to act with good conscience and not in effort to keep their job.

Hopefully in the next ten years politicians will see the value of a flat tax, eliminate a lot of silly loopholes so the rich and middle each pay a fair share. Same fraction but they pay and can’t hide money in crazy deductions- send many tax attorneys back to ambulance chasing and let those brains focus on beneficial impact to the world and not on cheating the government out of pennies in some legal loophole.
